Arthi Ramachandran
I am a doctoral student with Prof. Augustin Chaintreau at Columbia University. My current work involves applying data modeling and statistical techniques to social networking data in order to further understand social behavior.
My thesis is titled "The Cost of Sharing Information in a Social World". I will be graduating in spring 2017.
I graduated from Princeton University in 2008 with a BSE in Computer Science and a Certificate in Engineering and Management Systems. My undergraduate thesis was in "Automatic Raaga Classification in Carnatic Music".
Before joining Columbia, I worked on the technology side of the Commodities Trading desk at Goldman Sachs.
