Traffic Traces
- University of
Napoli "Federico II" Traffic and Data Traces (WAN traffic on port
25, 80, 110, 143, ...)
- Web
server TCP response time estimation; self-similarity induced by chaotic
competition among TCP connections; self-similarity induced by
propagation
- Packet
audio traces, with silence suppression
- MAWI traffic traces
from the WIDE backbone
- MPEG-4
and H.263 Video Traces for Network Performance Evaluation
- HTTP
traffic traces
- MPEG
traffic traces
- NLANR traffic traces
- The Internet Traffic Archive,
containing (mostly TCP) network traffic traces, as well as some web
traces (e.g., the 1998 FIFA world cup soccer traces).
- IETF source
files (rtpdump traces)
- Video traces for MPEG-4
and H.263L
- Audio packet traces gathered in 1997 and
1999, with the following format:
- the originating sequence number at A;
- the send time measured on the sending machine A;
- the receipt time measured on the receiving machine B;
- the receipt time of the response on the sending machine A;
- the sequence number of the request as received at B. In other
words, B has a counter that increments by one for every message
received. These are placed into the response B sends back to A.
