rtsp_cl -The file that contans the main() function and the executable is run so that one can enter the URL.

Synopsis

 Go to the directory home/rtspserver/rtspd-1.0-20000514/rtspd
 Type executable ./rtsp_cli

Availability

 Binary and source distribution are available now. The code runs on Solaris, Linux platforms.
 The audio tool RAT needs to be downloaded.
Description

 The executable when run invokes the command line prompt where one can enter commands to have   the work.The audio tool RAT is invoked on running the executable.

Features

The client has the following features:

• The progam can play a song ,by means of a request to the server.
• The song can play from any random positon.
• The song can be paused in between and playback can be continued therafter.
• One can record a song on the server and playback can be achieved for the recording by making a play request for that file to the server.
• The client can Teardown a connection while playing,pausing or recording.
• The user can enter the local port number as per his preference.

   Set the PATH so that the audio tool RAT can be invoked from the system() call.
