- Description:
- mIR is an application for playing MPEG audio files distributed using
multicast. mIR uses an external MPEG player for actually playing out
the audio. Currently the supported players is mpg123,
which is available for many Unix platforms, and Winamp from Nullsoft (for Windows
{95,NT}). Other external players work, too. mIR consists of three
applications: the receiver, the voter, the transmitter.
