Josh Engelman is currently a Senior Vice President at the D. E. Shaw group, a firm that relies heavily on software systems to carry out its extensive automated trading activities. Josh graduated from Columbia in 2000 with bachelors degrees in computer science, and was the founder and CTO of dot-com startup Campus Connects from 1999 through 2001. He has been employed at the D. E. Shaw group doing research and development for the last 7 years.
