Tournament Analysis

Figure 1 shows a summary of our tournament results. There is no obvious pattern that is apparent from this data. Our performance seems to be average throughout most of the games. We also tended to do better when there were more cards and fewer players. This makes sense because with more cards, the greater the impact of our inference rules, and thus the higher the chance that we beat out the other players by reasoning alone. Also, with fewer players, there is less impact from the randomness of the play order. Our ranking in each tournament was usually somewhere between $ 3rd$ and $ 6th$ place. We placed $ 2nd$ two times. We also placed $ 9th$ two times when $ C=1$ and $ K=2$.
