Class notes

The class notes will be collected by the TA during class, and put on the web shortly after each class. The purpose of these notes is to allow students to discuss ideas without feeling obliged to make extensive notes during class. At the end of the semester, we're planning to compile the notes into a CS Department Technical Report, representing a ``transcript'' of the class.
