Class notes

Students will write their questions/contributions on Slack in addition to stating them verbally. The collective Slack conversations will allow you to look back on the discussion (e.g., to identify who first came up with an idea) without each student having to take extensive notes. The Slack conversations will also be used by the TAs to count student class participation.

When you're not actively drafting a question, I'll ask that you hide your display (e.g., turn your ipad upside down, or adjust your laptop monitor below 45 degrees) so that you can fully engage in the discussion.
