Last year I was a GK12 fellow at SEAS (Columbia's school of engineering). GK12 is an NSF initiative that brings about 300 graduate students annually into US classrooms to share their learning with students in K-12 schools.
As part of the GK12 program, SEAS and the Institute for Learning Technology (ILT) at Teachers College collaborate on the Technology Integration Partnership.

I spent one day a week helping teach at Eleanor Roosevelt Intermediate School,
IS143 in Washington Heights, New York (near 181st street on the 1/9),
where I work with two science teachers.
