Ricardo Baratto is a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Columbia University, where he is a member of the Network Computing Laboratory. His research interests are in remote display technologies and thin-client computing. His honors include the 2004 ACM MobiCom Best Student Paper Award, a Columbia University Presidential Fellowship, and a University of Puerto Rico Computer Science NSF Fellowship. Ricardo received an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University and a BS magna cum laude in Computer Science from the University of Puerto Rico.
