The 3157 Hackathon is an optional hackathon intended for students and alumni of the w3157 class. Throughout the night of Friday October 3, 8:30pm to 3am, students will be working on two big assignments from the class. Alumni and TAs will be on hand to help students with these assignments.
This hackathon isn't just a homework programming session, it's also an open learning environment. Whether you're a hackathon veteran or this is your first time, stop by.
Aside from all the awesome people, we'll also have snacks and drinks to keep you fueled all night, 3157 swag, and swag from our sponsors!

directions. The Columbia Dining Team is being very generous to host our large and unusual event. However it comes with a very important requirement: absolutely no outside food. They do this because they're strictly regulated by the department of health, and it could cause major problems if anyone brought in food. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
This is the third 3157 hackathon. In Fall 2013 we had over 100 current and former 3157 students hacking in Carleton Lounge.
In Spring 2014 we had over 160 current and former 3157 students hacking in John Jay.
