The successful proposal will be selected based on the proven marketing abilities of the person or persons, their experience with the IP voice industry, as well as their interpersonal working skills. Candidates must be able to show the ability to directly perform (without delegation) functions such as:
This may, or may not represent the equivalent of one full-time person, depending on the available budget of the Forum and the eventual marketing plan approved by the Board of Directors of the SIP Forum. Proposals that carry a significant component of "management" overhead will be disadvantaged relative those whose main costs are for the person (or persons) performing actual work.
Individuals or companies who desire to supply these services to the SIP Forum should supply a proposal on or before December 30, 2003. A proposal must at a minimum include a CV of the relevant person(s) who will be directly working with the Forum (which must include a thorough description of the technology marketing credentials of the person(s)). Proposals may optionally include other supporting material as desired (such as demonstrative collateral examples, information about PR abilities, etc.).
The SIP Forum is open to a wide variety of pricing proposals, from hourly rates to retainers to project-oriented or other pricing proposals. However, please provide some indication about the cost model for your services.
Questions about this request for proposals, or completed proposals should be directed to Ed Keegan, Managing Director of the SIP Forum, by email (edkeegan@coditel.net).
Thank you in advance for your response.
Signed: The Board of Directors of the SIP Forum.
