I'm a CS PhD Student at Columbia University, immensely fortunate to be advised by Carl Vondrick.

My research interests lie primarily in Computer Vision & Machine Learning. More broadly, I would like to scientifically study intelligence and its emergence through visual perception. Toddlers and other ecological organisms - new to their sensory environment - acquire intelligence partially through evolution and self-play with the physical world. How can we build curious self-learning machines that leverage the raw, physical, and sensory modalities (auditory, tactile, and olfactory) complementary to & in the absence of vision?

Previously, I graduated from Columbia Engineering with a B.S. in Computer Science, where I was introduced to research by Shuran Song and Carl Vondrick.
