Using two Palm Pilots and the Palm programming environment, the project will construct a generic data exchange mechanism using the infrared beam ("beaming"). Currently, this is limited to exchanging business cards.
Also, exchange with laptop-based IR sensors would be desirable. (There may be software already for that.)
Once this basic capability is in place, additional web caching capability is to be added.
